1. All characters must be submitted in the Character Submission thread. Upon approval you can move your profile to the Hogwart Yearbook board. Any changes such as gains in power or weapons or anything of the sort must be approved by Headmistress Miranda Lockehartl. Maximum character limit is three...but no new characters will be allowed until you prove that you aren't going to disappear.
2. No one starts with any extreme powers unless approved under certain circumstances.
3. Don't write what happens to someone else's character. Don't put words in other people's mouths, the only exception is if you know them and have their permission. And make a note of it in the thread so I don't yell at you...
4. Keep it in character, the best thing to do when you don't know how to respond is just to keep it in character. If a post angers you, you can either pm me about it or just give yourself some space and post as the character would. Don't be insulted by an RP post when it is supposed to be in character...if an evil character is pissing you off, then good, he's writing his character right.
5. It's just an RP, just remember that we all want to have fun here. The whole board should be light hearted and adventurous...except of course our baddies who like to give us a bit of trouble to deal with.
6. Watch the language, while I have the filters off, because I find them annoying. I don't like extended use of vulgar language. If it works with the situation I won't think anything of it, but using it every other word is stupid and shows lack of intelligence and you will be banned.
7. HAVE FUN! After all if this wasn't any fun then I must be doing something wrong or you are joining for reasons beyond my knowing...
8. ALSO remember this is a NON-CANNON board, nothing here exist in Harry Potter universe. Keep in mind we only use the setting and pretty much nothing else.
