Personailty: Cold as ice, would be how some would describe them and it isn't far from the truth. He perfers keeping to himself and doesn't want to get close to anyone. On the flip side however he will stand up for people and protect them from anything, obviously this is what made him a gryffindor. Even people that know him don't understand why he is this way.

Background: A mystic with the power of ice, even his touch is cold and his skin looks slightly pale. The way he carries himself is confident but also that of a person who has had the wieght of the world on his shoulders and lived to tell about it. However his past is just as cold as he is and Trevor will never tell.

Other notes about character: He has no friends, only those he respects...and he will never stand by and watch someone get hurt.

[Arya Cassiel]

Race: Half-mystic/half-siren (Earth element)
Physical Traits: The most notable trait Arya has is the two streaks of white in her hair. Other than, she always wears gloves that come past her elbows, and she wears a lot of light colors and clothing that covers a lot because she has a lot of injuries and scars.
Specialty: Arya can manipulate the element of earth, though this is very weak as a half-mystic. She actually is very powerful, but has not unlocked that yet. She also has a special vocal magic as part siren, which allows her to use her voice to cause damage or make things happen. She doesn’t understand this much.
Character Quirks: Arya has little to do with other people if she can help it. She prefers to keep to herself and is a quiet, gentle person who enjoys solitude. She will typically not interact with people unless they have first gained her respect. Arya is fairly quiet and introverted--but more importantly, she's very introspective. She understands herself well and likes to try and understand others through analyzing their personalities. She rarely if ever says anything disagreeable or unkind, preferring to keep any negative feelings to herself as she'd rather not start a confrontation. Although she's a quiet person, she does not wish to be more outgoing or extroverted. On the contrary, she's quite happy with who she is. That's not to say she's a loner or antisocial, in fact she likes people very much. Also, while quiet, she is far from passive…she merely believes that actions speak louder than words. When Arya does make friends, she tries her hardest to hold on to them tightly, because she appreciates their love and support so much. She is a loyal friend to the very end. She hates to hurt others, and likes to be polite. Still, she can be a very brave and loyal friend, honorable to the end. Deep down, she has all the traits of a Gryffindor, but doesn’t let many people see those traits.
Vices: Arya is very vulnerable and fragile, she is the sort of personality that can easily break under the strain of a more dominant personality. She has quite the temper when set off and can be reckless at times.
History: Arya was the only child of Abner and Maia Cassiel. Her father was a mystic and her mother a siren. Her parents died when she was young, and she was an outcast in her village for her mixed parentage. She lived with her father’s family, but they were cruel and abusive to her. Her gloves hide scars, some self-inflicted, others not. She was finally taken in by a kinder relative, but she still bears the scars, both physical and emotional.

[Athena Foxfire]

Name: Athena Foxfire ("'Thena")

Clothes usually seen wearing: 'Thena is your classic "punk princess." During the day, she wears her school robes, like everyone else, but at nightime, or during the summer and/or trips to Hogsmeade, she's decked out in a pleasant combination of Muggle and wizarding punk. Black, baggy pants...chains...buckles...boots...zippers...short "school-girl" skirts...safety pins...fishnets...tight tops...spiked belts and jewelry...dog collar-like necklaces...Gothic crosses...biker gloves...studs... You name it, 'Thena usually wears it.

Personailty: Despite her punk-ish appearance, 'Thena steers clear of the "typical" "Gothic" attitude. She's bright, bubbly, cheerful, and almost a bit hyper - usually. Run-ins with her twin brother, Finn, can usually bring out the worst in her and spiral her down into some serious depression. At her worst, 'Thena is moody, anti-social, depressed, and a bit inclined to being short-tempered. But as said, it usually takes an incident with her brother to turn her that way. On most normal days, 'Thena enjoys being the center of the show, laughing, making jokes, pulling pranks, and leaving a wake of good-natured chaos and smiles behind her. In short, 'Thena is a lot of fun to be around - but do beware when her smile disappears and her temper starts to show!

Background: 'Thena is from one of the oldest Irish wizarding families in the world - the legendary Foxfires. Everyone in her family has been educated at Hogwarts since its inception and most everyone has been graduates of Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, with the odd Ravenclaw thrown in for good measure. Her brother, Finn, and her great-grandfather (Finn's namesake), are the only two Slytherin graduates of the family. Now, Great-Grandfather Finnigan was a fine and noble Slytherin - many people were of the opinion that he had been sorted into the wrong house from the beginning. But he made the best of the situation and grew to become a wise, cunning, sly, and slightly devious wizard...with a heart of true courage and wisdom. Finn, on the other hand, is as twisted as any Slytherin could possibly be - cruel, manipulative, and down-right evil. The exact opposite of Athena, who is true to her namesake - the Greek Goddess of wisdom and justice.
Of the twins, 'Thena is the youngest, by ten minutes, which seems to have made a curious difference in their abilities and personalities. Those who scoff at astrology would do well to study 'Thena and Finn. Finn was born on April 19th, just five minutes before midnight, which makes him an Aries...'Thena was born five minutes after midnight, on April 20th, which makes her a Taurus. As a curious result, both twins have a strange attraction to the element that rules their respective signs. 'Thena has already proven herself a capable young Mystic with considerable talent for Earth-element-based magic. Finn has yet to show any such abilities, but he has a rather disturbing and dark fascination for Fire.
The only other note about 'Thena's background is the origin of her disfigured face - a story, once again, tied into her brother. Seven years ago, just before the twins learned of their acceptance to Hogwarts, Finn grew particularly restless before the full moon. He had been bitten about two years prior and was still learning to cope with his sudden transformation from human to wolf ever month. He also had a particular distaste for Wolfsbane Potion and had made a fuss about taking it - down-right refusing it at one point. Tired of fighting with him for the moment, his mother tried to get him to eat - which Finn declined. When she went to get his potion for a seond time, Finn slipped out of the house, undetected by all except his twin sister. 'Thena followed him and found him cornering the neighbor's cat, with the clear intention of ripping it apart and making it into a very reluctant dinner. She intervened on the part of the cat, putting herself between it and her brother. Finn's temper flew and his more "wolfish" tendencies, which were close to the surface thanks to the next night's full moon, attacked his sister, scratching and clawing and biting. He damaged her left eye and left a few wounds on that side of her face. It took almost a year for 'Thena's wounds to heal and to this day, she wears an eye patch and the beauty of her face is marred by five jagged scars along the left side of her face and neck.
The only thing that saved 'Thena, in fact, is the appearance of her powers as an Earth Mystic - and that's the one thing that seems to create the largest gap between her and her brother. She has powers and it seems Finn doesn't...and he has been resentful ever since...

Other notes about character: 'Thena is very self-conscious about her face and doesn't consider herself "beautiful". This can and is often the source of her occassional bouts with depression, but for the most part, 'Thena doesn't let it bother her. She gets very edgy about the topic of werewolves and usually responds to questions about her disfigurment with vague answers concerning a run-in with an un-named werewolf that hadn't transfigured yet. No one presses for answers past that, since it's clear that 'Thena doesn't really feel comfortable talking about it.
It should also be noted that 'Thena has a certain disregard for the rules and has an extensive knowledge of Hogwarts hidden passages and empty rooms. She loves Hogwarts with all of her heart and honestly dreads leaving it's walls at the end of the year.
Finally, 'Thena's abilities as an Earth Mystic haven't been fully investigated, but it should be noted that she seems to have an unusually strong affinity for her Element. Over the course of her Hogwarts education, 'Thena has been focusing mostly on her studies and hasn't given much thought to her Mystic powers. Perhaps, this year, she'll learn the true extent of her abilities...which seem to be quite considerable...
