The Elf originally descended from the Mystic race, leaving the tribe and establishing new ones that are more attuned to nature. As they evolved their features changed, but they still feel an innate magical connection to the Mystics. An Elf will natually tend to be drawn to a Mystic, even if they don't really know why.
There are different tribes. The biggest of them are the Naashir, most elves end up coming from the Naashir tribe. However, there are several others including the Vuilinon, which is dominantly female and has a clear caste system. The Gaialusche lives in the rainforest and are strickly a full-elven race. They see half breeds as an abomination to their kind.
If you would like to create a tribe, just post it here. Make sure you go into detail, such as rules and belief structure. Remember, each tribe is like an individual society even if they are all the same race.
