Clothes usually worn: Hard to say, because he's an avid user of transfiguration. He is seen the most in a black turtleneck underneath a white overcoat with white pants and black shoes.

Personality: Being a pureblood, he has a certain arrogance towards most people, but underneath that arrogance lies a secret that he's never told anyone except his ex-wife.

Background: All his life he's been taught to believe that purebloods can have whatever they want and they will get whatever they want, and it didn't take long for him to milk that bad advice for all it's worth. At age 17 his parents had a change of heart, but Marcus didn't. As punishment for being a constant jackass, he was sent to the muggle world with enough money to survive and the clothes on his back. Through persistance he was able to humble himself, start a successful electronics company, and find himself the love of his life. It wasn't until her death that he needed a change of pace. He gave all his money to charity and applied for a job at the re-opened Hogwarts.

Relationship with other staff members: Has taken a liking to Desdemona. Appreciates the hard work that everyone is doing to get this school up and running.

Other notes about the Character: He chose Muggle Studies because he's lived in the muggle world for so long. His choice of class is obvious.

[Raul Alvares]

Name: Rafael Faolan Alvares

Physical Traits: Raul is tall a lean, athletic build rather than a muscular one and light tan skin, his features a mix because of his mixed heritage, dark hair and pale blue eyes. He’s half-Portuguese and half-Irish. He has a large tattoo on his back, a swirling tribal pattern with a wolf’s head at the center. Oh yea, and with the full moon he turns into a white wolf with gold eyes.
Specialty: Raul is good with animals and skilled at dueling.
Character Quirks: Raul's middle name means wolf, and he acts very much like one. He is a loner for the most part, but not entirely opposed to socializing. He is very wary about new people, but once he trusts them, he is loyal to the end. He sometimes seems cold and unfeeling at times, but it is just from walls he has built up inside himself. He can be very taciturn and stoic most of the time…but maybe he’ll open up eventually. He is honest to a fault, almost as if he couldn’t lie, but refuses to say anything of his past. He is studious but also athletic and very disciplined in the sports he does. Raul is very proud and stubborn, bordering arrogance but not quite, with deep beliefs in honor and justice. He is religious, and willing to stand up for his beliefs no matter what.
Vices: First off, Raul is a major flirt when you get right down to it, which leads to him sometimes getting in trouble. He has an intense self-loathing, because he’s a werewolf, and is prone to violent outbursts and/or depression around the full moon. He can be a bastard sometimes, but that’s half the fun.
History: Raul was the oldest child of João Alvares and Teryn Donovan and has a younger sister named Dulcea, who is now fourteen. He had a normal childhood until he was seven, at which point he was bitten by a werewolf. After that, his family was distant from him, except Dulcea. He was homeschooled and didn’t have much interaction. After some time, he moved to Britain and became a teacher. He was approached by Miranda to teach Care of Magical Creatures at Hogwarts.

[Tara Niyati]

Name: Tara Niyati
Age: 26
Position: Divinations Professor

Hair Color: Black-brown
Race: Human (seer)
Physical Traits: Tara is of Indian descent and has light tan skin, and dark hair, but her eyes are an oddly pale gray that stand out. She often wears red or black, and has the ohm symbol tattooed on her ankle.
Specialty: Tara is a true seer and prone to visions, typically in her dreams. She often knows things about people immediately after meeting them.
Character Quirks: Tara is idealistic, romantic and free-spirited. She is an artist and loves the simple pleasures of life and nature. She is easygoing and sociable, getting along well with her students, due to the closeness in age, and with the other professors, due to her cheerful friendliness. She can be very flirtacious and charming when she wants to be, and enjoys flirting. She can sometimes be gullible, but is usually very mature and good at judging things. She is very diplomatic and persuasive, a good speaker and teacher.
Vices: She’s naïve and gullible at times, goes a little too easy on the students. She smokes when she’s nervous or stressed.
History: Tara was the only child of Kamal Niyati and Saniya. Her family was a long line of aurors, but Tara herself possessed the rare abilities of a seer and went instead into divinations. She is a friend of Miranda and came to teach Divinations at Hogwarts as a favour to her.

[Mikhail Sezja]

Name: Mikhail Sezja
Age: 29
Position: Transfigurations Professor and Slytherin Head of House
Height: 6’3”

Hair Color: Black
Race: Human (Metamorphmagus)
Physical Traits: Mikhail is very tall and imposing, with pale skin, black hair and dark red eyes. He typically wears all black and a trenchcoat. He can change his appearance at will.
Specialty: Mikhail is a Metamorphmagus. He is also very skilled at Transfigurations and is a master of the Dark Arts, though he does not make that face known. He is especially fond of the Unforgivables.
Character Quirks: Mikhail comes off as very charming, intellectual, somewhat cynical man who is perfectly normal. This is completely wrong. He is a cold, merciless killer at heart and just because he got bored with that and became a teacher does not mean it's not still a part of him...or rather the core of his being. At the moment though, he seems content to teach. He is very calm and apathetic and seems almost amused by the world. He is an observer and watches people a lot, studying them. He enjoys teaching, but has little tolerance for ignorance, weakness or whining. He is not one to be trifled with and would be a terrifying enemy.
Vices: Um…he’s evil and bad and kills things…and he smokes and drinks a lot and swears.
History: Mikhail was raised in St. Petersburg, amid a prominent family of pure blooded Dark Wizards, who also leaded the wizard equivalent of the Russian mafia. He attended Durmstrang, where he became a master of the Dark Arts, and of Transfigurations, his field of specialization as a Metamorphmagus. He left his family, under the belief that he could escape the evil that grasped at his soul, and worked as an Auror for a time at the Moscow Branch of the ministry, and married an Auror, Mirielle Delacour, when he was 20. They had a daughter, Sidonie, a year later, and were married for three years. His parents, infuriated, had his wife and daughter murdered in front of him as a warning, and he returned to his family, under the pretense that he had learned the error of his ways. He was in a secret alliance with Ethelbert Millard however, and they had his parents murdered. He then swore his service to the man, as his top spy.

Physical Traits: She looks innocent and harmless for the most part, but being a mystic makes her far from harmless. She usually wears very vibrant dresses that make her stand out in every occasion making people take notice of her and also to show off her curves to grab that much more attention.

Specialty: Her Mystic power comes from the Fire element, and it shows through her actions as well as her power. She's an empath that has had to deal with it since birth. She has a locket that has a picture of her father and also has a secret that allows her to deal with her empathy a lot easier than most empaths. She is a wealth of knowledge, considered to be one of the best scholar's even at her young age of 26, which for a Mystic is only baby steps in the long run.

Character Quirks: She is ambitious and seemingly always in a good mood. She is a optimist believing that any situation can be overcome even in the darkest of times. She always has advice to give but only gives what is needed to be heard and believes that everyone needs to experience and learn for themselves. And while she does run the school she mostly lets it run itself as she is just there to make sure nothing goes too astray from how she wants them.

Vices: In times of stress, Miranda becomes secluded in her office and also tends to let her leadership decision move down the line to the next in charge. Her empathy can get the best of her and cause her to explode with emotion at any given time.

History: Miranda was taught and raised by an elven tribe all though she is a full blooded Mystic. The tribe was called the Naashir (Tribe of the Fallen Star) and she was taught a lot of knowledge and also the means to learn fast and how to apply it. Miranda gained knowledge and wisdom early and often in her life. When she learned of being a witch, and how much more was in the world she left to aquire more knowledge. Learning that her father was actually the last Hogwarts Headmaster she sought more information on him and aquired an interesting letter from her deceased father. I give you my last wish, my daughter. Re-open Hogwarts and succeed where I failed.

With determination she focused all her energy on the re-opening of the school, and with endurance she had succeeded but it came at a price. If the school failed, Miranda Lockehart would lose her status in the Wizarding World.

[Azura Storm]

Name: Azura Storm

Hair Color: Black
Race: Half-Mystic/Half-Elf
Physical Traits: She isn't muscular in appearance but certainly has the strength without her magic help. She usually is seen wearing a black and white top and black shorts. Along with her black boots. Also wears black finger cut off gloves. She probably looks less like a teacher and more like one of the students. She is very fit because of her everyday workouts.

Specialty: Combat is her specialty and happens to be very adept in defense against the dark arts and many various form of defense and self enhancing magic. Because of this she is famous among the wizarding world as the reigning dueling champion and also a master of several martial arts.

Character Quirks: She goes through different moods, when not training she is really light hearted and always seen with a smile. But while teaching or training she seems more cold and unfeeling. Part of what makes her such a deadly fighter. She has an odd weakness for anything that is flavored strawberry. Also she is more attuned to the Mystic Element Lightning and knows many mystic magic spells.

Vices: Can be cynical and cold when teaching which can be a turn off to some people. She doesn't trust people easily and often finds herself alone and lonely because of it.

History: The Storm line is known for their ability in fighting along with their defensive magic. Many powerful people had been defeated by them time and time again. Their family line is so well known that most search the members out to challenge them to a duel. Thus the upbrining of any in the Storm line is a tough one...as they grow pride and honor is instilled in them, making them proud and almost incapablie of turning down a challenge for the honor of their name and heritage. But also with the fame the family brings it also brings enemies that wish to eliminate the family line but none have ever succeeded and a high doubt they could ever succeed.

Azura is one of two children, her older brother Adrian Storm lives back on the Storm mansion, helping her parents with legal buisness and holding their own combat school. Azura however took a path less traveled and left home to teach. She has taught in many places but left for many reasons. Now she finds herself teaching at Hogwarts. She is looking for a place she can finally settle in. But with her family background she doubts she will ever find that place without those that search to end that family line.

[Edward Forrester]

Name: Edward Jamison Forrester (only acceptable nickname is E.J.)

Position: History of Magic Professor
Height: 5’9”
Eye Color: Bright blue
Hair Color: Blonde
Race: Half-Mystic
Physical Traits: Edward is not an imposing man at first glance. He’s not incredibly tall and his build is more lean than bulky. However, it is entirely compact muscle and he bears several scars from his past. He dresses in mostly dark blues with a black leather duster and boots and a pair of sunglasses. His hair is messy and falls in his face. It’s when you look into his eyes, unnaturally bright and with an unnerving coldness, that you know he’s dangerous. He is always armed, usually very armed. When he smiles, it’s easy to forget he’s dangerous, because his eyes warm up and he looks like any pther handsome, friendly guy.
Specialty: Edward is talented at both offensive and defensive magic, but his main skill lies in combat, both hand to hand and armed. He’s strong and fast, both traits that help him in fighting. His element is fire.
Character Quirks: Edward is a very charming, intellectual, and easygoing most of the time. He has his moments where he becomes very introverted and distant, moody and brooding, usually when his past is brought up. Most of the time though he gets along with people and has a good-humoured sarcasm. He is a self-proclaimed arrogant ass, and he sometimes gets on people’s nerves, but that’s half the fun. He is usually calm, if somewhat cynical and sarcastic, but when angered he is frightening. He becomes very cold and deadly and has some violent tendencies when upset. He is very disciplined and controls his emotions almost completely. He hates losing control and is kind of anal-retentive. He is stubborn and hates being wrong and is prone to arguing with people, though it’s more sarcastic banter. He loves pushing people’s buttons, especially Azura’s, and he’s a bit of a flirt.
Vices: He’s an arrogant, stubborn, antagonizing, misogynistic, womanizing bastard…and he smokes.
History: Edward was born in Exeter to a perfectly happy little couple named James and Anne Forrester. Sadly, the happiness was not to be as his parents were killed before he was old enough to remember them. Edward was taken in by a muggle assassin named Valentine. He learned from him, but his life again changed when he learned he was a wizard, and half-mystic. He left to attend school and then became a hitwizard for the ministry. He soon bored of killing though, and took up teaching his real love, History.
